It’s been a while since McLaren announced that it wouldn’t be continuing it’s relationship with Gulf into 2023. This was especially painful for those of us who would love nothing more than to see that one off Monaco livery back on the grid permanently.
Now though, Gulf has announced something is coming soon.

It seems now though that Fastest Pitstop have figured out the news and put the pieces together as they discovered that Gulf is set to sponsor Williams in 2023, following the appointment of Franco Colapinto to the Williams Driver Academy.
Gulf are set to sponsor Williams, Franco Colapinto (now Williams academy driver) is sponsored by Gulf, as several media have reported.

Now we’ve managed to get a confirmation through one source, but sadly given the proximity to the weekend, we won’t be able to confirm anything properly until Monday. Unless Gulf, hopefully in the meantime, call James and make it public.
Regardless, it’s something to make the 2023 season, even more exciting.
